Esta peculiaridad, que articula aspectos biográficos y preferencias literarias, puede analizarse tomando en cuenta la fractura que genera en el imaginario social dominante, legitimado por la élite dirigente del 80. Este artículo propone un estudio de estas problemáticas, mediante el recorte de un tópico de la poesía de Almafuerte, la creación discursiva de la chusma, y las consecutivas denuncias y postulaciones superadoras, coronadas por la formulación de una utopía. Tras este recorrido, puede apreciarse en detalle los conflictos sociohistóricos contemporáneos, especialmente las tensiones entre imaginarios sociales, que fueron registrados y resignificados por la escritura de Almafuerte.; The works of the Argentinean poet Almafuerte offer noteworthy distinctions in the context of the emergence of the Buenos Aires literature in the 1880s. This distinctiveness, which links biographic features and literary preferences, can be analyzed by taking into account the rupture it brings about in the dominant social imagery of that time. This article proposes a study of those problems by narrowing Almafuerte’s poetry to one topic: the discursive creativity of the rabble, and the continuing accusations and overcoming axioms, which reach the conception of a utopia. After this journey, one can appreciate in detail the contemporary socio-historical conflicts, and specially the struggle among the social imagery, which was registered and given a new meaning by Almafuerte’s writing. Resumen / Abstract: En Ecuador. Journal de Voyage (1929) Henri Michaux quisiera ir más allá del vértigo del vacío y de la nada, dar con los significados que se le escapan, dar quizás con lo “transreal”. Con esa lente, y teniendo en cuenta el contexto histórico e ideológico, hay que entrar en la relación del autor belga-francés a lo largo del Atlántico, por la región andina ecuatoriana, y por la Amazonía. Por eso vale ilustrar, aunque sea tangencialmente, la práctica literaria que caracteriza esa obra para no hacer de ella un mero reportaje de viaje cuando, en efecto, se trata de un libro de exigente lectura, de un esfuerzo, por no decir de un tratado, de inspiración poética, teórica, que responde a una estética y a un diseño, a una estilizada y hasta sistemática cosmovisión. Las analogías y yuxtaposiciones de inspiración vanguardista entregan un mundo en que coinciden, estallan y contrastan lo exterior y lo interior, lo dinámico y lo estático, lo cotidiano y lo extraño, lo íntimo y lo vasto, lo sagrado y lo profano, lo limitado y lo infinito. Journal de Voyage (1929), Henri Michaux aspires to go beyond the vertigo of emptiness and nothingness in search of meanings that elude him, and that would perhaps reveal a “transreal” dimension of reality. It is with that perspective, and bearing in mind the historical and ideological context, that one must approach the diary of the Belgium-French author’s travails along the Atlantic, Ecuador’s Andean region, and the Amazon realm. Thus, it is important to illustrate, however tangentially, the literary practices that determine that work in order not to turn it into a mere travel journal when, in fact, we have at hand a demanding book which suggests an effort, not to say a treatise, of poetic and theoretical inspiration that points to an aesthetic and a design, to a stylized and even systematic world view. The avant-garde inspired analogies and juxtapositions reveal a world where the sparks, and contrasts of the exterior and the interior, the static and the dynamic, the everyday and the bizarre, the vast and the intimate, the sacred and the profane, and the limited and the infinite come together.
